Under the general direction of the Facilities Engineer, the Facilities Technician is responsible for all facilities-maintenance related activities. Also, other duties as required to promote safety, teamwork, and the integration of new processes in a product development environment.

Key Responsibilities (What/How):
· Assist painting, carpentry, concrete, plumbing and masonry work
· Assist electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures
· Assist on Basic HVAC maintenance activities.
· Responsible for performing and tracking of pest control.
· Sets up, plans procedures performs electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures
· Hands on upkeep of all current equipment and facility. Troubleshoot and repair issues which include electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and fluid power equipment. Work with machine operators to resolve issues.
· Assisting maintenance activities PM work, preparing work lists, and managing work order system. Defines priorities and expedite items as required. Schedule and direct activities of outside contractors as necessary
· Assist storeroom organization, optimizes inventories, ensures parts and supplies are available for work assigned. Writes requisitions, reviews, and process invoices.
· Interfaces with engineering to facilitate proper design of new or modified equipment to expedite process implementation. Provides direction and support to outside contractors during project installations and start up. Perform fabrication or repair of equipment, which includes working with lathes, welders, mills, drill press, table saw or various other shop equipment.
· Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments, using hand or power tools.
· Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
· Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
· Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical and electrical principles.
· Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear.
· Other activities as assigned
